Brief
“Out of all the challenges I have overcome in my life, there is one that I am still trying to master, tying my shoes” - Matthew Walzer
For many people putting their shoes on and taking them off is a very basic and simple task. It requires minimal thought or effort when getting ready. However, for many teenagers suffering from Cerebral Palsy, securing footwear is a common and frustrating challenge that removes their independence.
Product Design
Nike Elevate: The design composed included a collapsible heel mechanism for ease of entry and an air fastening system to aid these individuals with this issue.
To build momentum and excitement around the product launch, I developed a suite of activation concepts for the Nike Elevate physical exhibition. This included campaign graphics, projected in the space and a curated program of engaging talks and activities to create a memorable experience for the audience.
