Brief
Jungbunzlauer is a global leader in bio-based ingredients, with over 150 years of proud heritage. But as the business looked to the future, its leadership team recognised the need to evolve to seize opportunity for market expansion. This presented a real opportunity to write a new chapter in the brand’s journey and accelerate their growth.
Brand Identity
To drive change, we connected three core levers: business strategy, brand positioning and culture, all anchored around a single, unifying idea: Naturally Better.
More than a tagline, Naturally Better became a strategic anchor and cultural lens for transformation, encapsulating everything Jungbunzlauer stands for. This idea was activated across every dimension of the business to create alignment, consistency and
energy at every level.
The new identity is modern, authentic and confident - most importantly attracting a new generation of young talent to the established brand.
Colour: Introduced a deep dark confident blue as the primary colour, symbolises conviction, expertise and deep expertise complimented with a vibrant and energetic secondary palette reflecting the brands innovation and spirit.
Imagery: Art directed two distinct imagery styles: macro and reportage, which capture both the scientific precision and authentic nature of Jungbunzlauer. Macro photography magnifies the raw materials and zooms into the benefits of their products. Reportage photography highlights the brand's processes and demonstrates the consumer use of their products.
Modular System: The design system reflects the balance between precision and human touch.
It uses clean, confident horizontal and vertical blocks that contain colour and imagery, to create a simple, flexible, and modular layout.
